LedgerView Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 11, 2026
LedgerView is designed as a local-first personal finance app. The app stores financial data on your device and avoids proprietary server-side account aggregation.
Data You Enter
LedgerView may store account names, balances, holdings, prices, goals, notes, import records, privacy settings, and export preferences that you provide in the app.
Where Data Is Stored
LedgerView stores app data locally on your device. If you enable Apple CloudKit sync, encrypted sync payloads may be stored in your private iCloud database so your own devices can access the data.
No Bank Aggregation
LedgerView does not ask for bank usernames or passwords and does not connect to third-party bank aggregation services in this build.
Market Data
LedgerView may support user-configured market data providers. API keys, when used, are stored in Keychain and are not written to the local database or sync payloads.
Analytics And Tracking
LedgerView does not include third-party advertising tracking in this submission package. Demo mode uses fictional data and does not collect reviewer information.
Export And Deletion
LedgerView is designed to keep data exportable. You can export supported records from the Mac app and remove local app data using system app deletion controls or app-provided deletion flows where available.
