MarkdownEdit Studio is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights.
Document Content. MarkdownEdit Studio opens, edits, previews, and saves Markdown and plain text files that you explicitly choose. This content remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Local App Data. The app may store standard local document state such as undo history or window state on your Mac. This data is not shared externally.
MarkdownEdit Studio does not require account registration. We do not collect your name, email address, payment details, document contents, or other personally identifiable information.
If you purchase MarkdownEdit Studio through the Mac App Store, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment credentials.
The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or tracking code. MarkdownEdit Studio does not sell personal data.
Your files are stored wherever you choose to save them on your Mac or in your own cloud storage providers. MarkdownEdit only accesses files you explicitly open or save.
MarkdownEdit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because the app stores data locally, you can delete app-related data by deleting your documents and removing the app from your device.
