Pocket Shark Field Guide ("we", "our", or "the app") is a shark reference and mini-game app for iPhone. This page explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
The app does not require an account, email sign-in, profile, or paid subscription account. We do not collect personal information, contact information, browsing history, or advertising identifiers through the app.
Favorites, quiz progress, keyboard preferences, and game progress are stored locally on your device. This data is used only so the app can function and is not sent to our servers.
If you choose to use Apple's Game Center features, Apple may process leaderboard scores and achievement activity under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Game Center participation is optional.
The optional Pocket Shark keyboard is designed to work without Full Access. It inserts shark-themed emoji combinations and labels locally on your device and does not transmit what you type to us.
The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking services.
Because app data is stored locally on your device, you can remove it at any time by deleting the app and its keyboard extension.
The app is designed as a general audience reference and game experience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date above reflects the latest revision.
